uh...so...yeah I kinda disappeared, didn't I.

I'm no longer messing with Zazzle and such. I got so sick of photography and all that, I ended up losing my camera in my house and didn't realize it for 3 months o.o I'm kinda back into photography but I have decided I rather not have family members knowing that....talk about quick trip to burn out ville again.

Still looking for a job. Par for the course for me, I suck at finding jobs.

I finally gave in and realized I'm a steampunk fanatic. My mother thought I was weird when I first told her about it, now its so mainstream that she understands it and also realizes I've been into it for most of my life. And yes, I'm blaming my addiction on her and the rest of my family...both sides are psychotic tinkerers...

But the kicker was when my mom calls me into the living room to see a steampunk style outfit on a commercial cause the outfit was so me o.O yeah.... and she didn't even bat an eye when I was drooling at the green bomber jacket I want for Christmas...

There is something tremendously weird when your parent finally understands you.... granted its only taken how many years....and we both refuse to try and understand my sister.

I've also become addicted to Danny Phantom. (How did I miss this the first time it aired? Oh right, I was hanging with an anime elitist. Funny how most of the new anime sucks bad.) My addiction to DP can be blamed on someone forcing me to sit through Avatar marathons of season 2 and 3 and another friend telling me I needed to watch season 1 to get most of the jokes (which was true) and DP was on after Avatar and I have a tendency to leave the tv on when at the computer which caused me to recognize voice actors I liked and well damn it, its about ghosts! But, this addiction is bad....it almost makes me want to give in to writing fanfiction again...but no no no no no I so will not write fanfiction again, I'm still pissed at the Rose of Versailles fandom...so i'll sit back and read instead....also forced me to buy the nicktoons games which aren't exactly bad....except Spongebob...I can't stand Spongebob! I would love to play Nicktoons Unite 4 player just for the laughs of everyone trying to work together and fighting over coins....2 player was bad enough! Those games made me enjoy gaming again...well except toybots....wtf is up with those damn jumps!

Speaking of video games, I got rockband 2 and beatles rockband for wii. I still had my old rockband account so Narumi is rocking on ^_^. (And yes, I got dared into making the DP cast on that....and no we couldn't make Vlad much to the annoyance of the person who dared me lol). I got mom hooked on Beatles Rockband....she no longer laughes at me for making sure we had 3 microphones. I also got lots of people addicted to RB2, what you didn't think those were all my characters, did you?

well, I think that covers most of the stuff I've been up to in general...

new computer hell

I finally gave in and got a new computer. Old computer came with 256 ram and 80gb HD...needless to say, its gone about as far as it could go. Sadly, I now have to give up XP ;_;

I would like to note, anything that has the word easy should not take over 2hrs to figure out then crap out and cancel when you finally do get it working...(Windows EASY transfer my ass!!)

So slow and steady transferring the old fashioned way, debating whether it would be easier to just move the damn hard drives from the old comp to the new, but thinking they might not fit.

Just plan tired ;_;

Overall, I should be ready to sell my soul to Sims 3! And despite my mother's attempts at playing devil's advocate, I will not be going back to Warcrack!

Working on updating Today's Tag. Also, Zazzle finally updated the calendar dates! Woohoo! Except, still takes so much of my computer's resources that I got to August and it crashed and deleted everything even though I kept saving as I went. BAH!

Ah well, I'll try again later.

Finished season 1 of Big Bang Theory *_* I love that show!

Now to clean house.

Dog T-shirts and what to do about Today's Tag

Well first, this weekend Zazzle made alot of changes to their site, which allowed Store owners to really have some fun with their storefronts!

Also, trying to decide what/how to do today's tag. While I like the quick create feature at Zazzle, there is alot of abuse of it and the marketplace is hard to search through. I'll probably switch to a Single store a day theme and not the tag concept I had before. I will still have the featured stores for the week on the sides. Need to decide soon though. Not sure if I want to change the blog name and address though.

Last weekend was a blast. I found a lot of inspiration and got some great photos and created some new shoes:

Meanwhile, soda companies have started going back to real sugar! The Pepsi products with sugar are have throwback in the name. Found mountain dew throwback at Super Target, it tasted weird at first, but I like it better...no weird after taste!

I decided to check out Lulu.com. In the past I had suggested the site to friends wanting to get published but was ignored...oh well. (Who would have thought back then that the place would take off lol) I just wish the site wasn't so slow.

I was originally going to make a photobook first but decided to try out the calenders since they have 2010 available already.

Yes, I am absolutely hooked on The Big Bang Theory. Tonight's episode was great...though my mom is actually frightened I followed most of the comic talk even though I stopped collecting a long time ago.

Happy Easter everyone! We'll be hanging with my sister's family today. I got the twins a couple of rather noisy toys for easter. Ah...payback! hehehe

Things have been good since the last post. I've swiped my mom's laptop since she hasn't really been using it and am now seriously working on my old novel. I found one folder with notes from it, but I know somewhere is the original handwritten copy from back in high school. I'll have to continue searching the closet. I'm using yWriter5 to help me get all my character notes and such together. Great program! I'm also working on another series which will probably end up as a series of short stories that if I like, will be on its own blog along with chapters from the main book. If I decide to post them, I'll post the new blog info here.

Also, our new plants are doing good. Our tomoto plants are covered in tomatoes now if they would just turn red. We had to get 2 more strawberry plants of which we never get any strawberries as Meg eats them as soon as they are all red. She says they are very good. We picked up some minature roses. Now there's a challenge, I'm not known for my rose knowledge. Also, the tupips finally gave up so I'm pulling the bulbs for next year, they bulbs look good so maybe we'll have some red and white tulips next year. I'm purposely not marking which are which and we'll be surprised by what blooms next year.

Lastly, I finally got a tree. I've wanted a meyer lemon tree forever, but....its going to have to wait til next year. Instead, I finally found a nursery in San Antonio that carries Cara Cara Orange trees. Cara Cara/Pink Navel/Red Navel oranges aren't in stores year round but they are Meg's absolute favorite. So we'll see how it goes. Mom kinda thought I was crazy, but after seeing the small little tree she thinks its a lovely tree even if we don't get full size fruit. I say full size because....its already got very tiny green oranges growing on it...and they fall off easily so...hopefully the cats will stop trying to fight over the tree and knocking them off. (Aren't cats supposed to hate citrus?) We should have some orange blossom photos soon too since there are a few flowers on it as well. The tree is supposed to go out on the patio with the other plants, however, it really does look nice in the house...

Spring Time

It's Spring time which means Wildflowers!!! I've already gone out and photographed what I could near by the house. This weekend we'll be heading to Austin to visit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center! Hopefully we'll get some spectacular pictures. (My aunt Cathy and my grandfather will also be going so the best photo challenge glove has been dropped)

Autism Walk and cake

Autism Speaks finally has a group that is setting up a walk here. I'm working on setting up a team but they have definitly changed a few ways to participating, like the whole team homepage uhm...yeah. In any event, as soon as I know more I'll post.

Also, Hobby Lobby had a nice coupon this week. 40% off Wilton products. So I now have a huge collection of tips and a beginner book. I'm trying to teach Meg how to decorate cakes cause she is at that point where she still thinks its fun. Also got Wall-e decorations with the coupon. She didn't want the Wall-e cake pan because there wasn't an Eve cake pan.

Will be taking the decorating stuff over to visit Meg's grandparents some time soon so we can have a mass cake making party before her aunt moves.

Tablet Fun

Got a bamboo fun tablet yesterday. Still learning how to use it. Meg likes it, she was having me draw My Little Ponies yesterday. Uhm...yeah not very good at horses, but she liked them. She also tried out the Corel painter that came with it. Once we got past horses I played around and made this.

gardening weekend

I finally have a garden! Well sorta. The patio is however covered in plants. Tomatoes, strawberries, tulips, pansies, marigolds, and the poinsettia from Christmas. I am happy *_* I have to keep an eye on Meg though, she really likes to water the plants...and doesn't understand the concept of overwatering.

Speaking of Meg, when we were at the nursery picking out plants, someone had brought their pet chickens, a hen and a rooster. Meg was enthralled!

Overall, this was a great weekend.

lack of shrinkage

Well, my visit to the shrink was called off because they kindly informed me my insurance was cancelled. Apparently my company noticed that employees that did their benefits online kinda had a bug that didn't work and never switched us over to new plans and didn't bother to warn anyone that their insurance would be cancelled.

Haven't heard back from shrink's office on new appointment so I'll have to find a new doctor or slowly work the lithium out of my system. Considering I'm allergic to it, that's not a bad idea but I would have liked a back-up plan.

Finally saw doctor about flu and was given antibiotics and strong cough medicine...the cough meds don't work...go me codeine doesn't like me >_<

Thankfully the antibiotics seem to be working...yeah. But my vacation was pretty much wasted ;_;

Went to Schlitterbahn last night for their Country Christmas. It was definitly not what was advertised. However lots of lights, great hot chocolate... and some REALLY good if expensive S'mores! (They added caramel sauce, oh yeah much love for the S'more!)

I think my aunt got some great pictures, she has a much better camera than me so I'll have to wait and see how they came out. She apparently got some of Meg dancing in the soap sud snow flakes. (The great photo ops happened while I was standing in line for food and such, go fig' lol)

We didn't do the ice skating the rink was tiny and crouded and costs alot for 45 minutes. We have a rink nearby so maybe I'll take her during christmas break.

Thanksgiving holiday was fun. Meg got to spend time with her father and we all played video games then I got hooked on Avatar. (Darn you!) However developed a nasty migraine from apples I shouldn't have eaten (I guess I was more stressed out than I thought ;_;) and was pretty shaky afterwards so most pictures didn't come out. Below is the only one I thought was okay for a card.

Tomorrow, we'll be going to Schliiterbahn Christmas Event which is why I had hoped to get a camera adapter before hand. However, I'm now in a photo contest with my aunt and my grandfather and I'm terrible at night and light photos cause of my shaking and my camera is terrible at reducing it. I have the only "cheap" camera too.

Hopefully some pictures will come out.

I've fallen behind again on my blogs. I need to update and catch up on today's tag, but I ran out of ideas, and with the mass create tool it's going to be needle in a haystack searching.

However it is Thanksgiving here, and I should be thinking about what I'm thankful for.

I am thankful for my family and friends (this includes the pets too). Thankful for my job. ^_^

I am also very thankful to be rid of something that constantly broke my heart and nearly destroyed my soul. ^_^

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving is great! Lots of food and warm memories! And if you're not celebrating, go eat a lot of food and fall asleep watching TV anyway! ^_^

Didn't get much done yesterday, I had wanted to get new glasses but everywhere we went they were either booked solid or didn't have my insurance. Did get an appointment to see a shrink...maybe I'll get lucky and my med intake will be reduced to once a day instead of 3 times a day with food...@_@

Today I have a birthday party to attend and need to work on Today's Tag...I'm so behind on that, its intimidating. I didn't get a few new items up on Zazzle though. I am trying to do a frame but will have to finish that later, I need to resize it.

Testing out last.fm, so far I can only get it to work with itunes...not my fav player but it will do. I'm impressed with the collection of artists it recognizes and so far I haven't confused it.

Had a great time Saturday. Everyday Paranormal held a paranormal investigation at the Institute of Texan Cultures and it was definitly informative and the place is definitly haunted!
